Migraines causing fainting

I am a 19 years old female and I have migraines with aura, and I've had them since I was 14 years old. Recently I've started having fainting spells with black outs, loss of hearing, shortness of breath, tunnel vision and severe SEVERE dizziness. The first time i fainted, i couldn't hear anything and my vision got blurry, hit my head hard on the desk as I fell while getting out of bed to get some water. Two days later, I had a migraine episode, the worst ever. The second time it happened after two months; I was standing and suddenly I felt like i couldnt breathe and my face went all numb and the next thing I knew i was waking up on the floor with a bad migraine already. My boyfriend was really worried (as was I) so we went to the doctor and he said this is common in migraine patients and its nothing to be worried about. But i am worried and scared and I dont know what to do. This anxiety and stress is horrible and im afraid this might happen again just because of the anxiety and stress this is causing. Can somebody suggest anything that might help? Thanks.

hi rem8, you could have a mild form of epilepsy, my 13 year old daughter has it and she gets an aura as well. each person with epilepsy can have different symptoms, my daughters is flashing lights in right eye, then it goes to a bright white light, then she goes blank and gets a headache at the end of that.  i would advise that you get your doctor to refer you to a neurologist and they will do a few tests to check things out, they might even give you some epilepsy medication to take, but don't stress cause it sounds like your only mild and the neurologist will help you through it. and just to reassure you my daughters episodes are not happening so often now. best of luck and let me know how you go on, hope this helped x
