Migraines

I'm 16 years old and i get migraines at least 3 times a week. Could it be due to stress? My mother has been diagnosed with Huntington's disease, so I'm guessing that would be the cause....but almost half the week with migraines is kind of scaring me.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there,
Migraine headaches tend to run in families.  If one parent has a history of migraines there are 50 % chances that the child will have migraine and if both parents have a history of migraines, the risk rises to 75%.Medications, eating on regular times, exercise, stress management all are helpful in controlling migraine. Seek the opinion of a physician. Do write to me again.
Best wishes and take care!
