Cooling program

I applied to MSF for free cooling program, does anyone know how long it takes to get a decision?

I just emailed the lady to ask if I wasn't approved since I hadn't heard anything. They had asked me for proof of diagnosis which I sent to her on 4/16.

This was her response: "We are still accepting applications. Recipients will be notified within the next month."

I don't know about you but the sooner the better for me. We've had some HOT days!

What is this?  I am newly diagnosed and am having a relapse and am already having a hard time with the heat.  We don't have AC and can't afford to have it installed (who can? lol) what does this program do/help with?  I'd love to find some help this summer if it's out there.

I would give them about two weeks and if you don't hear anything, it is perfectly ok to pick up the telephone and call and inquire nicely.  Fingers crossed you get some help with the heat- it really is coming!
