I’ve just started to have the exact same sensations 5 days ago. It’s interesting to read that others are experiencing the same thing. I’m 31 and have not been diagnosed with MS or had any real significant health issues in my life. Is this something to worry about? Take care, everyone!
Hi Mybe, was wondering if you did find the cause for your heat like sensation! I’m having exactly the same problem
Yes, these sensations can be extremely bizarre. Mine don't last too long, sometimes a zip, an hour, sometimes up to 2 days. I've had warm wet patches, cold wet, just warm or cold - but not wet, freezing toes (normal temp to touch of course) more intense small , localized buzzing, ears changing pitch, intense painful jabs into my ear, all kinds of bizarre stuff. So you are definitely NOT alone. Everyone on this site probably has some of this.
I have tingling and a bit of numbness up both legs to my torso and left leg continues up and over my lips.. I rarely keep my toes still - distracts me from how icky my legs feel.
Hope yours either goes away - or you get used to it enough that you really don't notice it too much!
Marcia
I've not noticed much of that with this relapse, but in '08-'09, I had a hot ear, then a cold calf, then buzzing in the left foot, back of my neck, and one finger.
Funny thing was, the finger was actually moving that fast on its' own. Looked like a hummingbird's wing.
I do have night sweats all the time; I try to keep cool, but have to keep my feet covered or I don't sleep well.
I get those. For a while there I used to always feel warm splashes on my thighs like I was dripping pee. Recently there's been a baseball sized patch on my right thigh that feels like someone's holding a heatpack to it, but to touch the skin it feels the same temp as the rest of me.
Paraesthesias are pesky.
I get hot patch sensations on my legs and I also will get a sensation of a part of me "being wet" sometimes on my butt, legs or even feet.
It is bizarre, but as ess stated above it falls under parasthesia
Def not alone with this!
Valarie
This is a parasthesia, an abnormal sensation caused by abnormal nerves. These are a big feature of MS. I get a bunch of them regularly. For lots of info, see our Health Page

Don't know the name but I get it in my left thigh!
Reminds me if standing in front of a blow dryer without the air movement
So you are not alone!
