Update- had VEP and LP today

I just wanted to give an update. I of course dont have any results yet. But during the VEP she had to do my left eye 3 times. And she only had to do the right 1 time.                                    And thankfully the LP went well. I was very fortunate that where I had mine done used an Xray machine and I got to lie on my stomach during the procedure. I had it at 10 this morning and am still feeling pretty good.           I just cant wait to get the results next week.

the headache most often apppears the second, or sometimes the third day after the LP.  Take it easy and no heavy lifting.

In reality, I have seen good studies that show that nothing prevents the headache in that 15% or so that are destined to get it.  I don't know.  I had no problem with my last two LPs.

Hi Mandy,
So glad to hear you survived the dreaded LP. Just don't push it too hard today or tomorrow.  

Some of your results may be in next week, but it is my understanding it takes some time to do the o-bands.  I'm remembering the usual time for that wait can be up to 3 weeks, so don't be surprised if you have to wait for more information.

Go drink lots of fluid, pamper yourself and take it easy.
