A Wonderful New Doctor

Hi Msers and Limbolanders!

I just came back from an appointment with a new doctor - this time one who is very knowledgeable about Lyme (since I have had 2 positive Lyme tests which were thought to be false positives).  I never felt more listened to and she went over all my lab results in my presence - spent over one and a half hours with me - what a welcome change of being listened to and allowed to speak - not rushed!  After putting it all together she thought my symptoms were most consistent with either Lyme or MS!  Here's hoping she's as good as she appears, knows what she's doing, won't kill me, and gets me my long-awaiting diagnosis and treatment!!  I'm hoping to get back on horseback and back into ballet!!

WAF- that is very good news.  It feels great to spend real time with the experts reviewing your records and problems.  It's too bad some of the other folks on here looking for answers don't live in your area.  I hope you have a long and healthy relationship with this doc.

YAY sounds like you found a keeper. I am glad she spent so much time with you and answered your questions and talked to you instead of being brushed off and ignored.

To have someone who listens and cares and tries to help you is worth it's weight in gold.  We all strive for answers and validation and help, if we can get that it can help us with our emotional state too.

So glad you have found that, I hope that you can maybe in the future resume your passions as it is great to have an outlet. So pleased you have found that great Dr, which seems to be so difficult to find!
