MRI 2013
1: Nonspecific subcortical parietal white matter nodule.
2: Focal of faint enhancement in the white matter of the corona radiata. Findings suggest demyelinating process.

I ignored this and after two months symptoms improved somewhat. Memiry, speech, and balance issues remained.
Then in february 2015 major issues with all three symtoms intensified as well as tremor, cordination, constipation, dizziness, muscle stiffness and limbs locking up.MRI findings

Left frontal lobe subcortical T2 and FLAIR signal abnormality with associated featheryenhancement which is nonspecific. Differential considerations include a capillary telangiectasia orrecent demyelination. Though less likely in a patient of this  age a subacute infarction could also have this appearance. 2. Right frontal lobe subcortical linear enhancement without associated T2 or FLAIR signalabnormality most likely represents a developmental venous anomaly. 3. Additional 3 foci of nonspecific signal abnormality in the subcortical white matter may reflectchanges related to migraines, an infectious or inflammatory process, or an atypical presentation ofdemyelination.

COMMUNITY LEADER
Hi and welcome,

Please respectfully keep in mind that you are posting your MRI findings in the MS community, and we are a community made up of patients diagnosed with MS or patients currently going through the diagnostic process of MS!

Whilst collectively we do know a lot about MS and have some experiences with reading MRI's relating to MS, but there are still numerous other neurological conditions with MRI findings totally unrelated to MS and understandably beyond our collective patient knowledge base.....

For what it's worth, from my laypersons understanding, your MRI's are not typically what we see with MS MRI findings, though these findings are not necessarily normal or excluding MS from consideration either. What stands out to me is that your MRI evidence, though not clearly worded, would appear to be unchanged since the one two years ago and whilst it's not clear what if this is typical of MS, MS would still need to be seriously considered as a potential explanation.

Unfortunately I don't think that is very helpful and you will probably only get a better understanding on what this could all mean, after you've seen the neurologist on the 12th.....

Cheers...........JJ

I posted this question and findings in hope of possibly finding someone with something in common to guide me. I know to wait for a neurologist but I really hoped for some possibilities here. The only answer I received is what my 13 year old could have told me. Depressing

Sorry I missed the findings. Have you met with your neurologist. No test rules MS in or out it is a part of the puzzle. The neurologist will bw able to tell you what is going on or order more tests.

Abnormal Enhancement: Linear area of enhancement in the posterior right frontal lobe near the vertex extends craniocaudally. There is no associated T2 or FLAIR hyperintensity in this region. A small area of fat or enhancement is seen in a similar
location in the left frontal lobe which does demonstrate a mild T2 and FLAIR hyperintensity.

Other Parenchymal Abnormality: There are also 3 punctate foci of subcortical white matter which demonstrate T2 and FLAIR hyperintensity, but no enhancement.

This was inside last MRI stated above before summary of findings. Please any help appreciated
