I'm sorry Sarah, wish they would have told you about hair loss as a possibliity huh? I know there is a drug they suggest for me to do, and hair loss IS one of the things that can happen.
I'm so sorry, guess you can learn how to knit with your hair ..!!! ( trying to make you smile) ....... maybe a new scarf ???
(((HUGS)))) to you,

My hair's roughly half as thick as it was when I started treatment three years ago. I'm on a drug trial, therefore don't know which drug I'm on and which is placebo. It wasn't mentioned in the literature as a side effect for either of the drugs I'm potentially on, so I've just put it down to androgenic alopecia.
I did not monitor things as closely before treatment, so it could be something slowly coming on for much longer. I started being hyper-aware of many things when treatment started.
I'd love to think if I switched drugs it would change as it's pretty distressing for a 33 year old to see scalp the way I do now, but in my case I think it's more likely genetic or stress-related, though I do not know my familial predisposition.
