Age of Diagnosis

JohnnieBear  has a thread that asks you to list what age you were when you were given the dx of MS.  I would love to see this information as numbers/percentages as well.  Please take the time to indicate your age at the time of your MS diagnosis. Thanks, Lulu

Was diagnosed at 53 but had symptoms, (optic neuritis, numbness in legs) at least 10 years before. All happened after I quit working out in the sunshine all year.

I was 46 when diagnosed. I was first hospitalized at age 2 and went to Neurologists through out my childhood and did not know it because my parents thought it was better if I did not know.. In the 1960's they did not know children could get MS. I was so used to symptoms and weird reflexes etc. I thought it was normal until my PCP told me it was not and sent me to a series of Neurologists. They had trouble diagnosing me because I did not have attacks and basically did not complain about anything.
