All of my Wonder Friends. Prayers Requested

To all my wonderful friends, I ask that you say a prayer for me tomorrow. I am having Septoplasty, and sinus surgery, tomorrow at 10:00am PST. I truly believe in the power of healing prayer, and ask that you pray the Holy Spirit guide my physicians' hands during this surgery. The surgery should last 2-3 hours, and time in recovery the same. Then if everything is good, I can come home. The Septoplast is where they re-break the cartiledge in my nose, remove a bone spur and straighten it. It has almost totally shut down my right side sinuss". (sp). Hopefully I will be able to breath a little easier after this surgery, and sleep better too.

Will be back online as soon as I can, and let you know how it goes.Who knows, maybe the big bump in my nose will be gone!

Love to all, Maggie

Lots of prayers and hugs from my end.  You will come out of it just fine and eventually feeling better than you have in a long time.  Recovery is not walk in the park (my friend has a similar surgery recently), but the medications they give you to take home will help tremendously.  Stay in touch with us and let us know how the surgery went when you are up to it.

Prayers coming your way - and understanding as I had a nasal septum reconstruction years ago.  It's not the most comfortable thing during recovery but hang in there and you will be breathing better real soon!

Hope it all goes well.  When I was nursing some of the Christian paitients kept their bible under their arm/pillow in recovery, and I and most of us always made sure it didn't get moved or fall on the floor while they were asleep or having observations taken.  Don't know what religion you are but if something like that helps good nurses, and make sure you still have it with you while you are sleeping off the anaesthetic.  Or just keep the good wishes inside yourself, they are secure there!

You have asked and as a child of God, I have obeyed.  I pray that you will be restored to full breathing, which we all take for granted....and that God will guide your surgeon's hands.  I believe prayer is powerful sweetie and I know that you do also.  It is done.  I know that all of us here in your Forum family, want only the best for our precious Maggie who is so kind to others.  Never wavering kindness and compassion..

We love you sweetpea.  I hope that you can feel us with you in spirit tomorrow, holding your hand every step of the way.  God IS in control.

Big Forum Hugs,
Heather
