jensequitur,
Yeah it was just a standard LP. I don't know my leg hasn't been the same since the LP. It hurts a lot more than it did before.
Not sure if he hit nerves or what. It has been 1 week today since the LP. Is is possible that this is just another flare up, if I even have MS.
The burning is a lot worse now too. It is in my arm as well as my leg. The other day when I was cleaning the house, the middle of my upper leg started hurting real bad with every step. Felt like it was going to snap in two every time I put any weight on it.
It still hurts but not quite as bad.
Thank you
Paula
Figuerpa, you're just talking about an LP, right, not a shunt? A standard LP won't cause the kind of symptoms you're talking about.
Hello!
I had a LP shunt removed because of nerve root compression in my left leg, it was replaced with a VP shunt. In short from my experiences a LP shunt can and have been known to irritate nerves in the back and down the leg. I'm not a doctor but I have been through similar experiences, it's my opinion the yes it is the LP.
Thanks Michelle,
It is really starting to drive me crazy. My feet are tingling, my left leg is so much weaker but I will get through it. Just wasn't sure if it was related to the LP
Paula
