I participated one year, but after I went, I was turned off by the relentless letters and e-mails asking for donations. I've put them in my spam folder for now.
I do! And, I do it for all who can't. So, for those who can't make it for one reason or another, no worries- rest of us got you covered!

I will be participating. I can't walk in it so my family will push me in the wheelchair. I'm not chairbound but just can't walk like that. It's awesome and I recommend it for anyone who can do it. Last year was my first time and the weather was beautiful. I soaked up the sunrays which I definitely needed.
To all those who walk/bike for MS this year, make sure to let us know and give us the opportunity to sponsor you!
I did the read-a-thon as a kid, but never the walk. My area (Ontario) has five bike treks for MS, which I had to miss out on last year because I just wasn't well enough to ride, but with any luck I can train for them this summer. We'll see! Otherwise, perhaps the walk.
This will be my first year to walk ...the local walk is April 17. Sometime in the coming month I will add some details in a journal - There are big plans brewing that I hope will come off.
my best,
Lulu
Maybe I'll see you! I live closer to Santa Cruz, but I plan on walking with a couple of folks from my MS support group from Palo Alto.
Last September I came close to riding one of the shorter legs of the Waves to Wine bike ride, but it was too darned hot, so I bailed.
Cheers,

I am walking for MS this year for the first time. There are a number of them scheduled in various cities in my state (Washington), so I am participating in the one closest to me.

Polly and I are going to be on a team. Last year the whole thing was in a parking lot and hot so who knows.

I participated last year. It was a small event and I collected a lot of information. It made me feel good to walk for sure.
I did it very last minute and managed to raise $850. I recommend it if you can do it.
This year I am not feeling as well and not going to push myself to do it.
I will do it again when things are a bit more stable.
I bet it would be really a good time in SF. I say go for it.

I have never but really want to. The local MS walk was cancelled last year due to a lack of a coordinator. I live in a small city in northern Alberta and the local branch of the MS Society is volunteer run. I have never gotten involved but am considering it. There is a wonderful two day walk on Cape Cod that I have read about. I would love to do that one someday.
