Body Jerks

I seem to be getting more and more body jerks, usually on left side as I sit at my desk working.  Today alone I think I have had at least 15 or 20.  Usually I only have about 5 or so a day and some days none.  Today I also am itching on my back real bad and my legs won't let me stand more than 5 or 10 minutes without feeling like I am going to fall down and can't hardly pick them up.  Can anybody give me some help in this area.  Any ideas as what can be happening.  My lymph nodes on throat and under right arm have been swollen and hurting for weeks now.  Doctor did chest xray but nothing was fournd.  My vitamin D level is real Low and have been put on mega doses of it.  MRI of brain, cervical, and thoriac have been done. No lesions found. Chiari found in brain one. Neurosurgeon does not want to do surgery on it.  I believe there is other things going on.  I am completely exhausted at the end of the day. I go home and fall asleep. Might wake up for a few minutes and then go back to sleep.  I have trouble sleeping all night though on the nights I don't fall asleep.

Some days I am great.  It is like someone turns on the light switch in my body and then comes and turns me off when it wants me to quit.   My hands and feet tingle and the top of my head.  I have a lot of numbness in them also.

Low Vitamin D levels have been known to cause your symptoms, but at this point it's hard to say without further testing.  How long have you been on mega doses of Vitamin D?

Another possibility is that you're having problems in your spinal cord - but if you've done an MRI of everything, then they should have found something.

I dunno - some of your symptoms sound neurological, but the lymph nodes do not.  Don't give up!  Keep searching for answers... and maybe somebody with more knowledge will pop in.

Sorry, no answers, just questions:

Is the lymph node swelling new?  Have you had a CBC recently to make sure you don't have an infection?

Does your neurosurgeon help you manage your symptoms of neurological cause?
