C-SPINE REPORT

MRI OF THE CRVICAL SPINE:

FINDINGS: Examination of the cervical spine was performed in the sagittal and axial
plane utillizing multiple pulse imaging sequences.

There is no evidence of acute fracture or subluuxation. The intervertebral disc space
heights are well maintained, although there is very mild loss of signal from the discs
at all levels secondary to degeneration.

Images obtained at C2-3 disc space demonstrates no evidence for disc protrusion,
narrowing of the spinal canal or neural foramina.

Images obtained at C3-4 disc space demonstrates tiny right paracentral/posterolateral
disc protrusion but no significant narrowing of the spinal canal or cord compression.
The neural foramina are normal in caliber.

Images obtained at C4-5 disc space demonstrates tiny right paracentral/posterolateral
disc protrusion but no significant narrowing of the spinal canal or cord compression.
The neural foramina are normal in caliber.

Images obtained C5-6 disc space demonstrates very small right paracentral/posterolateral
disc protrusion which mildly impringes upon the thecal sac and ventral surface of the cord.
The neural foramina are normal in caliber.

Images obtained at C6-7 disc space demonstrates no evidence for disc protrusion, narrowing
of the spinal canal or neural foramina.

The spinal cord in general is normal in size and homogeneous in signal intensity. There are
no lesions at the craniocervical junction.

IMPRESSION:

Tiny right paracentral/posterolateral disc protrusions at C3-4, C4-5 and C5-6. No

I am definitely not a doctor and this is only my opinion.   I am just learning how to read these myself, but from what I can see on here, your MRI was negative...at least as far as MS goes.

I am thinking that the images obtained C5-6 show something, and maybe a little bit in C3-4.  Maybe this causes you some back pain?

Sorry, I don't think that was helpful.  Did your neuro explain the results to you?  Is this the only MRI you had?  Was this one done with contrast?
