No I am still looking for a roommate or second job. My sister lives with my g'pa. His health is not good and lives 45 mins from me. But a good question. Thanks. All prayers are excepted and needed, Thanks again. Karina
Thanks for the update and I am so glad you will be getting help with the meds! Will this be enough help to eliminate the need for a roommate? Is your Sister's house a possibility?
If not keep looking for a roommate - I know the right situation is out there waiting for you and it will be exactly what you need. I will be praying for you.
Take care, Kristin
I am getting assistance from shared solutions with my copaxone. Talked to them yesterday. So that will be one less thing to worry about. Still looking for a roommate. Didn't work out yesterday. Room was so small. Just wanted to let ya know
Your last sentence sounded like you thought you were not doing a good job keeping in touch. I sure hope that is not what you thought I meant. Talking on the internet can be difficult. Please don't put undo extra stress on yourself to get internet access. We all just want you to know we really care about you and want to be there to support you. I know that the financial side of this workup and disease can be overwhelming, my copays have totalled oevr $1200 so far. Please take care of yourself and know that we are here to help with anything you need to talk about!
Kristin
Thanks for the concerns. It's nice to have people who care about you, even if they don't know you. I'm not on copaxone yet am working on that. Everything will be better, when I get my finances worked out. I never thought it would be so expensive, even with co-pays. I'm trying to get a roommate to help offset the cost. I meet her tommorrow. Hopefully things will work out. MS Society said they could pay for me to move( one time help). That would be a big relief for me. Will try and do better on keeping in touch.
I have been thinking about you and was so happy to see your post above! I am so glad the body scan was negative!!!!! I agree with Quix above, can you find a way to check in with us and let us know how you are doing? I hope that you can, I have enjoyed getting to know you a bit.
Take care,
Kristin
Karina, I was waiting and hoping your scan would be negative. I am glad for you! You didn't need a malignancy to complicate things. You sound very down right now. Have the meds begun helping with the spasming yet? I read your answer to Jenn about numbness in your legs and falling. I'm going to answer it over there so she'll see it too.
I'm concerned about losing you off the internet. We only have a few more days with you. I've been hoping that you might have found a way to check in with us. You say the library is booked, but can't you get in the waiting line and get booked on their computers too? Or maybe a friend would let you check in with us. You're a charter member now and have been so on the spot for speaking to people old and new. Anyhow, we'll keep talking to you assuming you'll find you way back.
How is everything going? You're barely a month into your diagnosis, right? That was not a good time for me. I was past the "up" moment when finally all of my dismissed and doubted problems had an answer and was sliding into being pretty ticked-off.
Who do you have that is good for you? Family, friends?
I hope you talk again when you get home from work. We have a lot to cover before you sign off. Did I promise something that I haven't done? Please tell me if I have. I now have started a notebook (yesterday) in which I make a note if I tell someone I'll do something. I used to just go back down the page or two and review, but that's no longer possible.
Hoping to hear back, Quix
I had it done because on an x-ray on left arm, there was a clear spot in bone. Don't feel bad. Lots of questions and comments.
Sorry, but I am not up to speed...but why did you have the body bone scan? Sorry if this is repeat information.
