Have you had a 3T MRI of the spine?
That's how my eyes get when they are dry. Tears are made up of three things, oil, mucus and salty water. If these are present in the wrong proportions it can mess up the clarity of your tear layer. Yes, see a doc.
BTW I just read about your trip to the neurosurgeon. He says that bilateral TN is almost always due to MS. That is what I tell everyone. So you are in the very frustrating position of having all of your docs believe that this IS MS, but no one will "call" it because the MRI is still negative. This must be unimaginably frustrating for you. I can't believe that they aren't just calling it, making sure you understand that they might be wrong and going ahead and treating you. That would be my inclination.
If it looks, walks, quacks and acts like a duck.....sheeesh!

I do have occasional blurred vision, that seems to have nothing to do with my contacts. I find if I'm having eye problems (double vision, blurred vision) I have better luck with the glasses - I guess my eyes aren't having to work so hard.
You might be developing dry eyes. Try using drops specificaly for dry eye. Use your glasses in the mean time. Do follow up with eye md.
No pain in the eye (it's funny, I have pain in my left eye, though I think it's from TN, but blurriness in my right eye!) I will try my glasses when I get home, and see if that helps.
I need to see an eye doctor anyway. I guess this is added incentive. Of course the OD will look at me like I have three heads when I say what's wrong, but hey, I'm used to that.
Hey, do you have glasses? Try wearing them for a while... Are you having any pain in that eye?
