Concerns me

Something has been brought to my attention recently that concerns me.  It seems that many patients in Ohio are diagnosed with both Chiari and MS.  I can understand a high cancer rate if you lived near the former Fernald Uranium Processing Plant, but for Ohio and to have both Chiari and MS says to me that the something is wrong with neurology in Ohio.  Maybe not having a CINE MRI that shows the spinal flow to the brain.  Not sure why but I think it needs to noted.

My mother lived next to Fernald while growing up and I just recently was diagnosed with Graves Disease.
Is this related, I am not sure.  But I would love to know.  Any suggestions?

both chiari and ms?  both such huge and troublesome diseases, i can't imagine being diagnosed with both but am aware that many people suffer more than one autoimmune disorder.

i too find it curious that ohio seemingly has many people with both.  is there any solid research backing this up?  if yes, were any hypothoses offered up?

thanks for noting,  michelle.
