heading east for the weekend

DH and I are trying it again - going to Butler, PA,  to see dear DJ.  She's not been doing so well, I hope we can have a good visit.  I hope western PA stays out of the path of the rain and we have a dry drive over and back.   I'll be back here either late Sunday or sometime on Monday.

Also, Shell texted me tonight that she is ready for Irene and won't be on the forum this weekend. She'll check in on the flip side of the weekend.

I'm figuring the western part of PA might even be in sunshine for most of the day.  I sure wouldn't be going much further east than that.

Have a good trip and relax as much as you can Lu.  I'm glad you went.  Too many of us put off too many things because of not feeling well (or being afraid we won't feel well after doing things).  Sometimes that's necessary.  Sometimes it's just as necessary NOT to cancel plans.  

I have a feeling this is an important trip for both you and DJ.  Let her know my good thoughts for her drafted into your slipstream when you passed through Ohio and rode easy all the way to her doorstep.  It's sunny and calm in northeast Ohio today so I trust that is true for the skies and people in western PA as well.
