Antidepressants and Propanolol

Does anyone take an antidepressant with Propanolol/Inderal?  So far, I've been having a hard time finding anything that mixes with the medicine that doesn't cause major problems.  I'd love one that doesn't cause weight gain, too!

No, I don't think I've tried Buspar.  That sure does sound familiar, though.  If I feel myself getting depressed again I want to ask my neuro about this drug.  Thanks!  Deb

I too am on Propanolol.  Alongside this I am also on Buspar.  I haven't had any side effects at all such as weight gain and it doesn't make me feel like i am on drugs such as lexapro and xanax did.  Have you tried buspar before?

I forgot to mention . . . I HATE anything that makes me feel drugged or sleepy, too.  This is the most important thing and I can't believe I didn't mention this in the original post.

I've had the worst luck finding any antidepressant that fits my picky criteria:

1) mixes with Propanolol
2) doesn't cause sleepiness
3) doesn't cause you to feel drugged
4) doesn't cause weight gain
5) doesn't cause an increase in headaches (forgot that, too)
