confused and frustrated....

Hi all... hope this message finds you well..

I had a second VEP two weeks ago... my first was abnormal, cause most likely demyelenation. ... well, my second one came back normal. Hmmmm:/

The lady who did my second one did not do it like the 1st. She only did two check sizes. My first test didn't find a significant delay until the third check size. My 1st took an hour, my second, 20 minutes... am I wrong or could the lady not have gathered enough info?

This is so confusing to me... my neuro was ready to send me straight to MS clinic but decided to have another VEP done. I am still scheduled to see a neuro - opthamalagist on the 29th...

Ugh... just when I thought I was headed in the right direction and FINALLY getting some answers... starting line of limboland all over again. Depressing...

Thanks Alex and Invida...
Invida, the neuro hasn't contacted me specifically, his nurse called me to tell me tge results and advised me to still see the neuro-opth. So.... we shall see..
Alex, thank you... I sincerely hope I am closer to an answer with each step...

Seeing the Neuro ophthalamogist is a good thing. They are better than VEP for accessing Neurological eye problems. I was sent to one after my VEP and the Doctor thought I had MS.

Hi. I'm so sorry that you're having to deal with that. I can understand how you feel. Is your neuro now not willing to diagnose you?

I'll leave a hug here for you and hope that things will go better after you see the neuro ophthalmologist.
