forgetting
I have not been diagnosed. This is driving me crazy. I forget daily things. The name of things. The feeling of crawling bugs on my skin. The feeling I am being stuck with needles. My family thinks I am making this up. The doctor can not see me for 2 months. How long before a doctor can tell me if I am crazy or have MS. I quit a job I loved because I kept forgetting important things and I got so tired I could not think. I have had pins and needles for 10 years but the forgetting has only been about 6 months. I am really scare and I don't think I can make it 2 more months. I goggled pins and needles and I truly believe I have MS because everthing on the website matches my problems. I am 52 years old and I feel 82.
You are definitely not alone since you have found us here .... and no way are you crazy either. The only thing crazy here is this MiSerable disease.

Thank you so much! I called them and she put me on the waiting list. I did not know there was a waiting list for doctors. I have read alot of information on here today. I feel so much better knowing I am not alone and I am not crazy.

You have several issues here - I'll try to hit the key ones.
Many here have family members who can't understand --- we look so good on the outside when we are just sitting in a chair! There are several key publications on this topic available through the NMSS site.
There are also excellent health pages here that explain many of these symptoms - perhaps those would also be of use to your family.
Quitting your job is a huge step. I'm so sorry the memory problems felt insurmountable to you and left you no other options.
Two months seems like a really long time, but honestly it does go pretty quick. Be sure to call them back and ask if you can be put on a waiting list in case someone cancels and you can get in sooner. That happens quite often.
