Double vision

Watching tv after a few glasses of wine - 3 to be specific - seeing double - two Brodys on Homeland. Don't usually see double, ever. Is this weird or just the wine? Nothing else is double vision, just screen, and screen is fine when viewed with one eye at a time.

LOL. Double Brodys can only be good!! It was very weird. Some things were overlapped like JJ describes, some clearly double. I guess it was the wine!!! And I was pretty tired. I guess I wonder if there might be a weakness there exaggerated and brought to light by circumstances. Thinking a little more about this I remembered when I drive at night I see double lights but I have always thought this to be astigmatism.

If it was so specific two of Brody is not really a bad thing. :-)

If you were tired the combo with the wine may be the culprit.

I get weird vision when I am tired and it isn't consistent.

Um weird, i really can't explain or understand double vision that 'only' happen's looking at a TV screen. I honestly don't know, double vision can happen if looking sideways but considering you're specifically saying your vision was normal looking at anything other than the TV, then i'm inclined to think very weird and i'd be blaming the wine.

My double vision is more obvious the smaller the item, and sometimes people have extra eyes mouth etc like a fun house mirror but it definitely isn't normal at any time, at best its always one image overlapping the other.
