Hi does anyone wake up with the room spining and it stops when you close your eyes? I felt nausea and balnce was affected face has numb patches today and hands cold in parts. This was realy scary its calmed down but if I move my head it comes on again.

Any comments apriciated thanks tarter...

Hello Rendean so sorry to hear about your fall it must have been up setting and scary it takes the wind out of you.

Rendean you are a ray of sunshine I have been really frieghtend today all sorts of thoughts went through my mind like brain tumour!! because of speech and numbness. I nearly went to the hospital but my husband reminded me these unusual symtoms happen. He said you always come through just go and rest.I did not drive today or go out. I look odd with my balance a 2yr old starting to walk comes to mind!
my doctor has ordered a brain scan because of the speech.

Yes, I have woken up to this exact sensation. Vertigo. I was told mine was or could be from one of 3 things: my atypical migriane, BPPV or central vertigo from MS. My MS neuro believes its from the MS.  Have had 2 rounds of IV steroids to rid me of it since I injured myself while falling due to vertigo.

Please be careful and have someone help  you walk to whereever you are headed, including the bathroom. I hit the tile floor...not good.
