Our dear Shell is off today doing her thing for MS by walking with her team - I hope the weather is lovely, the path gentle, and the comraderie inspiring.

Hi there!!

I'm here! Tired, but here! It's a 6 mile walk and we finished, yay! The sun was shining bright, it was windy of course, but just a beautiful day.

Thank you all for all the cheers! It's truly inspirational each and everytime to do this and I'm always so thankful for all the support and encouragement.

I fixed my typo in the original post here, so that is why you don't see it!  

Next year - everyone - next year!  This was my first year to walk and will definitely do it again.

I am actually walking with Shell today, too.  Their chapter had virtual walkers so I figured I could do a second walk in two days and signed up for her team, too! LOL

Thanks for walking Mary.  Maybe spring will really be here by next weekend.

My goal is to actually walk instead of donating to a team next year.

Our walk is at a local public park.  The route is along a one mile paved walkway.  I should do okay as I'm well accustomed to walking in circles.  

People I haven't been in touch with for a while are finding me standing on their email porch with my tin cup plea for sponsorship.in hand.  It's probably not the best way to introduce them to the new friend who is taking up so much of my time these days but sometimes a person just has to shed pride and dignity to put on grit and determination.

Does she really get good weather, too?  She already has a walk that is on a boardwalk by the ocean.  LOL

Our walk took us around a teeny tiny little pond that was more like a large  drainage ditch.  

Where's your walk next week, Mary?

That's an honest mistake considering the hour of day they hold registration for these walks!  I'm considering just sleeping in the parking lot next week myself.  The team can WAKE me when they get there.  Wow, we're supposed to MOVE too.
