Going to CHIRO.. whoops?

So I have a very bad neck at times ...  Take care of it but I woke 3 Mondays ago with another stiff neck and I said " that's it I want this fixed" I called a CHIRO ..
It has been great... I have gone 6 times so far and I can move!!

Like I can MOVE, my head turns both ways and my neck feels great... Not perfect but great.

So I have read through old posts and found many views.. I really just want an updated opinion from all of you who I know now and not a 2010 opinion.
Should I be going to a CHIRO?

My problem stems from my dbl vision in my eyes... I sit crooked to see straight. My eye doc is working on this.
I do have lesions in my spine...
Yes he cracks my back and my neck and stretches my neck and pushes in different spots with pressure etc. No machines or anything extra...
Did I mention I can move?? Lol

Please give me your thoughts..... I have an appointment tomorrow .. Should I cancel?

I'm not fond of them; I've had myofascial release massage to get rid of a headache that lasted a month; even going to an osteopath doesn't last……..be careful with PT, they tend to push you beyond your limits.

I personally wouldn't go to a Chiro to have anything cracked mainly because I have spinal fusion from life long arthritis. A Chiro wouldn't see me anyway because of the risks. I would rather a Physiotherapist or PT.....I think they are called this in the US. I've never have any sort of hands on treatment rather stretching & exercises.

Good luck & I'm sure you will have lots of different views on this subject. I think if it works for you then that is what you must use.

I have thought about trying chiro but OTs and PTs that I see don't recommend it. The think I should try myofascial release massage to help with my neck but my neck pain is due to spasticity.

Ps ..  My MS nurse almost had her head pop off when I told her today I was going to a CHIRO
