No Question, just an update.

I hope that this does not show up twice, I just lost my post.  I had my 15 week OB appointment today.  All is progressing normally with teh baby.  I had to confess that I have fallen twice since my last visit (10 wks).  I have never fallen since my DX.  The first was after an MS Society mtg at which my neuro was the guest speaker.  Totally embarassing, but funny to see. IT had been reaining and I hit the mud when the sidewalk ended.  This could have happend to anyone.  I had to drive home and pick the ashfault from my knee and foot!  The second fall was totally do to MS.  My vision is messing up in a slightely new way.  I did not see the first step because my left eye was stuck looking up, and I was a bit dizzy.  Thankfull, I fell on my butt and only fell two steps.  It was a rather tall stair case.  Thankfully nobody saw me, but my husband heard the squeel.  I was truly scared, there were 17 steps, and we were at a family reunion in the smokies.

Nothing is bothering me so bad as to want treatment now.  Steroids can cause a really big baby. My OB said that if I fall again, he wants to know, and reminded me that blonds are not suposed to walk and chew gum at the same time.  He said that goes double for prego blonds and stair cases.  We have a really good repoir and he has a seriously funny sense of humor!  It is nice to just be a person when at his office.  He stops and says hello to me in the grocery store and at when out to dinner.  His mother and I had the same porfession.

Stay well my freinds,
Ann

I have been trying to make an effort to turn my head more than just cutting my eyes back and forth.  This pregnancy has been really different than those of the boys.  Maybe it is a girl, maybe not. I have also been staying off the stairs when I can.

We had remote start put in my car this week!  It is so nice to get in and the ac already working!

No more falling or we will have to come there and excort you everywhere until this baby is born.  You have a seriously funny OB.  Who else could pull off a blond joke like that.

So, what are you planning on doing to adapt to the vision changes and being dizzy?  It makes me wonder what is up.  Did you have these issues with your other pregnancies?  Hmm...Wonder if this is a boy or girl. Girls like to challenge their mommies at least mine did.  Never had such bad heartburn, swelling, etc with my boys as I did with my lovely daughter.

OK, so promise to keep both feet on the groud so all of our blood pressure's can stay down.

Hugs,

Julie

Hi Opie,

Nice to hear from you! Nice to know you are in good hands w/your OB gal! What a buster he is, huh?

Adding on to Ess, BE EXTRA CAREFUL! These falls are dangerous to you and baby!

Not yelling, just looking out for you!

Hi, Opie!

So glad to hear things are going well in the baby department. I know it all took a while, but now you're sailing through.

But as the others have said, please be extra careful!! Err on the side of caution and you can't go wrong

Please keep giving us reports.

Ann,

Please do us all a big favor and hang on to the railing/bannister on any and all stairs.  I have  taken a dive or two or ten down staircases in my lifetime (none in recent years - the latest was 8 years ago) I can confirm it is painful and tailbones can take forever to heal.

Sorry I can recommend nothing to hold onto when encountering mud puddles! LOL

It is hard to believe that you are already at 15 weeks. Where does the time go?

take care and stay in touch,
Lu

well hey there!   Glad to hear that things are going good for you.  Besides the couple of falls  (please be careful).  And, YES!  if you do fall again, I would certainly tell your OBGYN....

well wishes to you and baby.

Peace,
~Tonya
