Got some time to spare?

You might want to wander through the newly designed Consortium for Multiple Sclerosis Centers' website.  They have revamped the site and it is much more user friendly.  They have lots and lots of good stuff there if you are into reading medical studies and staying up on the latest MS news.

Their website is  www.mscare.org

I can't help it but everytime I see their website mscare,  my brain reads it as MS Scare - that really is my subconcious reading this.  LOL

be well, be smart

It has been busy in here this week, I've had to go back a couple of pages to catch up, and am still reading. Great piece of info you posted Lulu, thank you.

Wow is it ever busy around here this week... this post had already dropped to page 2.

I am bumping this because there is an incredible wealth of information at this site - be sure and take some time to look at the presentations.

This was well worth the time to read, very interesting and hopeful.  The prospect of changing some of the strict MRI requirements for diagnosing will offer treatment to more peole.  I also thought the remarks about black holes and ischemia 'write offs' were of special interest.

The other thing I liked was regarding changing the protocol for O-band testing to make it more accurate.

I hope so, because when I went on it about 2 weeks, I thought it was hard to find literature that I knew was there.
I hope it was just still a work in progress at that point....

actually let me correct my title here - do you have LOTS of time to spare?  The presentations from the San Antonio conference are posted - they are power point presentations but I think most everyone here can follow the slides and understand the talks.

Try this one on MRIs - especially look at slide #17 which gives the evolution of an MS lesion and what imaging technique makes it visible.
