Hope

Hope is my favorite four letter word. There have been many things I have found discouraging this week, but I am clinging to hope. I am not watching the news. My dog Boomer had two cancerous tumors removed from his head. They grew very fast. I had to put faith in the surgeon yesterday. I have hope this will make him better for awhile longer. It is getting harder to walk but I still have hope.

I used to live in fear now I live in hope. My life and situations have not changed but it is so much better. Fear is paralyzing and hope is energizing. I need all the energy I can get.

If you want to see my "Pretty Dalmatian" look at my pictures I posted of Boomer. He was born with the funny hair. Seriously he does not have fur but human like hair.

By the way Boomer is doing great. He is back to his happy self and not picking at his stitches. He picked at the tumor constantly. He seems younger. The tumor must really have been bothering him.

I think my depression was an MS attack. I have now been on the Copaxone for ten months and I am cutting back on medication for depression.

Alex,

I hope Boomer is doing better today, and healing nicely.

Hope is a lovely word, I think I'll find my paints and paint a hope picture to put on the wall to always remind me that I have it.  I could use some energy!

Thank you for being you and sharing your peaceful wisdom.
