I'm also having severe pain in both my legs right now, radiating down from my hips to my toes. I'm pretty sure mine is spasticity, as it is causing the drop foot in my right foot to be worse than normal. I think you should call your Dr too. If it is spasticity, meds can help, and like jen said, there is always the possibility it is something else.
I get deep muscle leg pain in just a few areas on my leg. Not sure how to get help on this one. Let your Dr know and see if you can get some meds to help.

I get severe pain in my legs, too. It almost feels like it radiates down from my hips. I'd say spasticity...but like Jen said, you never know.
Maybe you should talk with a doctor about your symptoms?
Good luck, I hope you feel better.

Both your legs are in pain? Normally I would say spasticity, but after the blood clot in October, I tell everybody to go to their PCP and get checked out for any abnormal pain. I assumed my pain was spasticity - just very painful and excruciating. I put up with it for three weeks before talking to my vascular phlebitis doctor, who immediately scheduled me for a doppler the next day, and sent me to the hospital when they found the clot.
That's the key - is this pain abnormal? Is it really painful? Or does it seem more like a muscle spasm?
