do you feel the way I do

Hi,

I am trying to understand if this is how others feel while they cope with MS

1) On bad days (body stiffness/headache/bodyache ...) I feel that there is no end to these symptoms
2) On good days, I feel that from now onwards none of the above symptoms will appear
3) The transition from good to bad days is unpredictable but generally good days come
right after the above symptoms have peaked
4) Sometimes the symptoms suddenly disappear by evening and sometimes the symptoms appear only in evening (so its not just good days and bad days but intra days also)

But the key points are unpredictability, transition from no symptoms to symptoms and vice versa.

Do others too go through similar cycles and feelings?

Regards,

Lulu & others,

I am a bit confused. Please help me understand.

1) I have days when headache and bodyache that has been with me for almost 12+ years now. This is normally 2 times a week generally.

2) I also have days when I dont really have headache or body ache. But I am generally tired. This is the other 5 days of the week. Needless to say I am tired on the other 2 days when I have headache and body ache

3) Once in a while (once every couple of months), I also have days where neither
I am tired, have body ache or headache. During these days my head is also very clear and my energy levels are pretty high. Just like the normal person I was.

What is the status of MS for these 3 case. To me it looks like case 3 is when my immune system is really normal and not working against me.

What about case 2 & 3?

One thing you are right about is the unpredictability of MS.

I'm sorry but I don't remember if you have an official diagnosis - I'm thinking you are still in limbo trying to figure out what is wrong with you.

What you are describing though does not qualify as a relapse -those last longer than 24 hours, and usually much longer.  But those nagging problems do seem to come and go for many of us.

my best,
Lulu
