I just had to share a prayer I ran across in an old Faith Connections newsletter:

Healing God, your Son accepted our sufferings to teach us the virtue of patience in human illness.

May all who suffer pain, illness or disease realize that they have been chosen to be saints and know that they are joined to Christ in his suffering for the salvation of the world. Amen.

Isaiah 41:10

"So do not fear,for i am with you, do not be dismayed, for i am your God. I will strengthen you and help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right  hand."

Isaiah 3-4

"Strengthen the feeble hands,
steady the knees that give way,
say to those with fearfull hearts,
Be strong,do not fear,
your God will come,"


I find these scriptures get me through when i'm low.

That's beautiful - short, to the point and beautiful. I think I'll have to print it off and add to my little colleciton of affrimations that get me through tough days.
