I've IVSM at both an infusion center and at home. Home is hands down the better way to go. Can't tell you price as insurance picked up the tab for all of due me already hitting out of pocket max.
Good luck with your infusion. Be prepared for metallic taste in mouth during infusion. Mints help, I ate a whole roll of Mentos during each infusion. NOt that I needed the whole pack but it's my weakness and a good excuse to eat a whole roll : )

I've had the IVSM at home. Not sure of the cost since my insurance picked it up since I had already reached my deductible. Luckily my Neuro's nurse called around to find a company that would come out to my house and do it since it really was not possible to take 3 boys with me to the infusion center for 5 days. It was pretty easy she set it up and taught me what I needed to do everyday for the next dosage. I wish you the best and hope you can have it done at home ..it's will be easier for you. Best of Luck

It works out costing you and your insurance company less for IVSM at home. I don't remember the actual cost, but my copay was about $200.00 for 3 days.
