Accidentally Took Betaseron Two Days in A Row

I should really say "absentmindedly".  I have a Betaseron app on my iPhone and I got an alert today to take my injection, so without even thinking or checking the calendar on the app, I immediately prepped and administered my injection.  Two hours later, I got another alert because I forgot to record the injection so I looked at the calendar and realized, oops, I injected myself yesterday as well.

Anybody else ever make this mistake?  I called Betaplus and I'm expecting a call back from a Beta nurse but err, what's the usual routine when something like this happens?  Any weird side effects?

I'll be sitting in the corner with my dunce cap.

Well the nurse called me back an hour later and told me to take some ibuprofen if I hadn't already and to expect flu-like symptoms.  I had a headache and some body aches that lasted a little longer than usual the next day but nothing I haven't dealt with already.

She also mentioned a double dose study that was performed where patients were given doses of Betaseron on the same day and no serious adverse effects were reported.  I'm assuming it was 0.6 mg/2 mL.  She also reminded me that the 0.3 mg/1 mL dose was pretty small to begin to with and not to worry.

Other than that, I was told to skip the next day and resume my schedule.  And with that, the universe was restored to proper order!

This should .not be a problem except for maybe having flu like symptoms for a bit longer than usual.  I would be curious to know what they tell you when the nurse calls back.
