I'm not losing it - health page explanation

Good evening everyone,
I tried to add an additional resource to our HP on WWW resources.... the operative word is TRIED.  Whatever is going on with the format, it kept changing the original page by deleting items at the end.  Each time I tried to correct the problem the HP became shorter.  Someone else had this problem on this page when they tried to add some things ....   I'm waiting for a reply from MedHelp on what the heck is going on.  It will not let me go back and delete the text in the old one either ....

So there are now THREE HP's on WWW resources until I can get someone at MedHelp to respond.

In the meantime I just want you to know that the complete version of this HP is the one marked as VERSION 2.  I am not losing it playing with multiple postings today.  I definitely had far more interesting things or fun things to do than beat my head against a wall with this. LOL

My best to all, Lulu

Sho - the one titled Version 2 has the additional information I was given by Lbradley about adaptive technology - wheelchairs, computers, etc from our states .  I'm hoping whatever medhelp is doing to cleanup this problem will happen soon. Thanks, Lulu

I was the one that had trouble before. I think somehow, something got off in the underlying HTML and if you change a certain part, medhelp tries to "fix" it, but ends up lopping off the end. If you do get it messed up again, the easier way to fix it is to go under the "history" tab (to the right of edit) and revert back to the previous version.

I did have an idea about how to maybe fix it. Which is the right one to use at this point? I'm off to the grocery at the moment, but can try to look at it later.

Waiting a day and trying again didn't really work - it let me change the HP title but not delete the text or do anything else!  arghhhh..............

on the good side I have  a whole day here of peace and quiet to be productive - will be popping on and off as I take breaks to see what's going on with this side of the world.  DH off with a friend to the Bengals (losingest team in the NFL!) - won't be home until dinner time.  I'll have to put something in the dryer to defrost by then!

Be happy today!

Shell,
I know what it is ... this MS thing teaches us such patience and practicing the  skill to wait forever for anything to happen, that it's just natural that dial-up seems ok.....

And at least I don't feel my buzzer - you talk about the mother of all parathesias.....

Is it time to get serious and back to work?

See, I never even heard, I mean saw your buzzer.

Well, I use to think that if I got all high speed and such that it would put me and my computer at greater risk of "high speed bugs and viruses." Yea, you laugh, go ahead, but I'm telling you that was my theory for never getting up to speed.

I am the last person on earth on it.I just know it, and I'm waiting on my award! Think they'll send me something cool or what? I think one should get something extra special for such torture.  Just think you will all be apart of me getting that award - I'll, I'll be famous! ha/ha!

LOL!

You see that commercial w/the "big ball" of rolling laundry?  It rolls toward the woman while she is watering flowers! Ha/ha...

If that wasn't so funny because you haven't seen the m'ercial. I'll try again, The morale of that story was - Good thing she doesn't have to refridgerate or cook that ball.

Ok, I'm humoring myself now at this point.

I'm delirious, nice to meet ya.

perfect timing girls - the dryer just buzzed so it must be time to take the meatloaf out and hang it up!

Dial up?  Can you still get that?  We really must talk about a serious upgrade for you- I promise its not that expensive.

At least you cook your laundry.  Mines all in the fridge awaiting ironing.  I have at least 3 years worth in there now.

cooked laundry - that's rich.

I have a appointment on Tuesday morning for someone to come out to the house and tune up this baby.  sheesh.  I'm lucky I can still get on the internet.

I'll have to use my sister;s computer if I want to research anything.

Hey, for us forgetful and short term memory issue types, take the 'don't read this' off.  We'll not even notice we're on our 3rd read...lol

You should be me, on dial-up (yea, I'm nuts).  I vacuum, do laundry AND cook laundry in between posts when they aren't disappearing.  I'd be happy to get 3 repeats right about now.

This has also happened to me.  I soved it inadvertently by just waiting for another day.  I know they are doing some major roll-outs over the weekend thru next Tues.

Down't fuss about the fact that your three redundant HPs make you look like an idiot.  We all love you anyway, warts, drool and all.
