headache or possible type l hermittes

my child has never complained of head pain before until last week when said that the back of head hurt on and off when moving or walking for 3 days and then it seemed to go and now this morning its back but I have tried to get a little more info about the pain (baring in mind my child is only 6 yrs old) and it seems that upon certain movements of head/neck the pain is there and then gone this has not gone away at all today I hoped calpol would take the headache away if that is what it is but its done nothing at all. to top it off short term memory issues are at there worse today which have got worse and more apparent over the last couple of weeks and the itching anywhere and everywhere without a rash to be seen is absolutely driving us mad. right now laid up on the sofa looks drained and tired with the feeling that feet are burning even though they don't feel warm to the touch.
I am at a loss as to what is happening and why.
I am wondering if this could be l'hermittes of some kind .

thanks
I have called the nhs direct and they have told me to go to the out of hours gp at our local hospital as they agree that this is unusual in a child and therefore needs checking . my local gp said last week that my child is showing signs of early dementia memory wise I hoped it would pass but its not.

I'm not sure what is going on here, but this is definitely not normal for a six year old!!  I'd call his doctor for sure.  Please keep us posted.
