Is this an MS attack?

Could this be an MS attack?

I get immediately nauseous and rush to the toilet. In about 2 minutes intense vetigo comes along with the now intense nausea. A couple minutes later I start sweating fiercely too. Then my hands feel tingly and my feet feel numb and the feeling just zips up my arms and legs within a few seconds so that they're totally numb. Half a minute later I go blind quickly, then my whole body tightens and my arms draw up and my hand becomes a claw and the pain in my abdomen, right leg, and lower back is a 30 on a scale of 1-10. While I'm thrashing about and screaming my vision returns and I get the feeling back in my arms and legs.

I was thinking that the pain that feels like my muscles are contracting to the point or tearing up inside me could be spasticity? And I'm not sure what an MS attack means.

Thank you for clearing that up for me. I hadn't thought that it was, so whew, I don' t feel like an idiot for telling my doctor I think I get seizures. The reason I was questioning was cuz I don't recall clearly what all went on, so it was my boyfriend who described it to the doctor and she was very interested in the fact that he said I was screaming while seemingly having a seizure of some sort. It's weird, cuz I don't think I could be screaming when I can't use my voice to make words. But maybe he's just confused extreme pain writhing with a seizure; I'll have to clear that up with him.

So my first MS attack would be the months of true vertigo I had a few years ago. Or maybe the month or so that every time I slept I woke up by biting my tongue on the same spot, earlier this year, that was an attack too.

Thanks again everyone! You're all so wonderful. =]

Love,
Diemyn

I would highly recommend seeing your physician.  It is obvious that something is not right but it doesn't sound like MS.

Just wondering if you have ever taken your blood pressure when this starts?

Just a thought,

This does not sound like an MS attack to me - it sounds like you could use the help of a doctor to determine what is going on. If this were MS, the symptoms would not resolve quite this fast with it being this intense.

The phrase MS Attack really doesn't reflect  properly what that means.  It means an increase in symptoms or an increase of intensity with the symptoms.  Usually that is not the violent sort of attack you have described here.

I hope this helps,
L
