Wedding went beautifully. Gee, I hope their family gets the church properly cleaned up before they lock up.
That chocolate peanut butter ice cream sounds wonderful -- and deadly to my plans for reclaiming old shrunken parts of my wardrobe.
Well, as my symptoms arn't too bad at the moment, I am going to make the most of it (without doing too much of course)! I am cleaning the house (yawn!), probably do a bit of gentle exercise to get me back into it, colouring my hair as my grey streak makes me look like a badger (!) and watching X Factor!! To our American friends that's like American Idol. Sounds like a boring weekend, but my week has been so hectic, it'll be nice to actually chill out and take my time with life a bit.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!!!

Not much unusual going on here this weekend. Well, we did buy purple cauliflower at the farmer's market. Just wanted to say that chocolate peanut butter is my favorite, but I'm trying to be good at the moment so I'll be thinking jealously of you and your ice cream. Enjoy!

Most full weekend I've had in a while, and few of mine include much downtime.
Last night, met a slew of Nancy's coworkers as one of the Parent-Teacher organizations hosted a little picnic before the HS football game. We thought about going to the game too, but we were both beat.
I officiate at a wedding in a half-hour (better hustle!). Rest of the day will be spent preparing for Sunday morning. (Our projector came back from repairs, so no more a capella hymns, at least!).
Sunday mornings are always taken, of course. Hoping for a nap afterward, as there's a concert we hope to attend in the evening.
Peace & blessings to all.
It's going to be hot here, so my big plans are to do laundry, weed after the sun goes low, and work on two guitar pieces - one of my own, and a cool arrangement of "Moondance". I may go out and hose myself down if it gets too hot!
Cheers,

I think the chocolate peanutbutter ice cream sounds wonderful!!

My grandson plays football tonight. My husband drove over for this and will stay overnight - I opted to stay home with the dog, have much to catch up on here.
Annual antiquarian book fair on Saturday - and I plan to go.
250th b'day parade for the town on Sunday. There are Clydesdale horses here for the event - & some folks from the town of the same name back in England - I'm not sure what else. My husband is a volunteer for work on parade preparations but I haven't kept up with it all.
I am going to read all weekend. I am trying to cut back on TV. I am leading music in church on Sunday.

Wow DeeVee, talk about putting the pressure on.... here's our fun for the weekend.
We're out to dinner tonight with our monthy dinner crowd. A low key group of 10!
Tomorrow morning I have kickboxing, followed up by a 90 minute massage appt.
Saturday night I had tickets given to me at work for a gala fundraiser for a wonderful dance group (Rhythm in Shoes -cloggers - internationally known!) It's not black tie, but sometime I will have to shop for an appropriate *cocktail* outfit I guess.
Sunday is DH's birthday and knowing him, Friday and Saturday will not be enough. He will still want to celebrate.
Somewhere in there we should do some laundry, clean the toilets and perhaps go to the grocery.
Anything in that list inspire you? I will happily trade places with you for that bowl of ice cream and some peace and quiet.
later,
L
I know I have said this before I am going to try to start cleaning my art studio.
