MS Pain

Does anyone have pain and it feels like everybone in your body hurts? It is hard to describe, but it is very intense pain and it is worse in my joints. It isn't any specific spot, it is my entire body. I have tried Baclofen and Zanaflex, but they didn't help at all. I also tried Lyrica, but it caused me to be extremely off balance and I felt like I wasn't myself. Thanks guys!

My last relapse I had that sensation. It felt like I had been run over by a Mac truck several times and I had fatigue that went with it.  I wouldn't say it felt like my bones, just achy feeling and heavy limbs.

My sensations slowly went away and I never took any drugs to help w the pain. I didn't know I had MS at the time and I had no dx of anything so they didn't know what to give me.

Do you find that kind of pain is all the time or regular?   Is it fairly random, like good days / bad days?   If good days / bad days, you might want to start a log for what you eat / what you are exposed to.

I have that kind of reaction to gluten.  Never did before, but now if i eat gluten, by the next day I'm literally a puddle of mud and everything hurts, especially my legs.   I kept a food diary and it was pretty clear pretty quick that everytime I had gluten, the next day I had a 'bad day'.     Not that its necessarily the culprit, but wanted to share what my experience was...

Good luck and hope you're having a good day!!

I have pain everywhere too.  Knees, thighs, hamstrings, neck all the way down my back, hands feet, elbows at times, and on and on.

I'm on gabapentin 1800mg, zanaflex, a muscle relaxant cream...it will work for a very short time, but then I'm back to awful pain again.

Sorry this was of no help!

I use a lot of gabapentin (2700 mg), as well as baclofen and zanaflex - but it doesn't completely remove the pain.  It does help me to manage though.  A good stretching routine helps if the pain is due to spasticity.
