Hi - it sounds somewhat similar to my experience with optic neuritis. I agree - have it checked out asap, because IF (and I emphasize "if") it is O.N., quick treatment can save some of your vision. Fingers crossed for you - Lyrae
A would make sure it is not a detatched retina.

Hi NMM,
First things first, as Laura and JJ said, get this checked out.
Second things second, I have morning/waking visual issues as well. I see double for 2-3 minutes when I wake. Mine is nystagmus (jerky eye movement) related rather than optical. It clears after a coup,e of minutes. Your's sound more optical. More reason to bring this to the attention of your medical team.

I don't think 'I' have ever heard or read of your experience in regards to MS, though it sort of rings a bell in relation to what i've read for migraines but because this is your sight, I really think you should be proactive and get this checked out, asap.
let us know how you get on!
Cheers..........JJ
Hi and welcome. Because this is a new to you symptom, you will want to contact your neuro's office and let them know that this happened. The fact this was only temporary leads me to think it is not MS related, but I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice. Be sure to contact your doctor, ok? See you around, Laura
