MS Specialize so if you are worried about MS I would go to a MS Specialist. To save time you can go to a GP and get a neurological exam. It is reflexes and such. It is more accurate than a MRI. Before MRIs this is how you got diagnosed. If it is normal it is probably not neurological and you do not need to see a MS Specialist. MS Specialists are not that common. There are only 5 where I live in NC.So sometimes it takes a while to get an appointment. The MS process can be quick. More often it takes months or years.

Hi and welcome,
The type of doctor you need to see to diagnose neurological conditions like MS, is a neurologist....there are a lot of different tests required to rule in and rule out all the potential medical causes and depending on those results, which ever condition you have will determine what treatment (symptom and disease modifying ) will be right for you, treatment it something to discuss with your neurologist once your diagnosis has been made.
Please keep in mind there are very few symptoms that are unique to MS, so it's highly possible that what ever you are experiencing is not actually MS, if you haven't discussed your symptoms with your family doctor yet, i would recommend seeing your GP first to have basic blood tests, basic neuro exam etc because it could very well be something unrelated to MS and can be diagnosed by your GP.
Hope that helps....JJ
