MedHelp is really very receptive!

This has nothing to do w/ this forum, so feel free to ignore me. I just had to comment. I sent an email to MedHelp with a suggestion for a new forum. I visit forums here for children w/ special needs, autism, etc. Due to my work, I aware that there is such a need for support for those who care for ADULTS with special needs, especially mental retardation. So I suggested they start a forum for adults with special needs.

Long story short, they emailed me back to keep my eye out for the new forum. Sure enough, it's there -- adults with special needs -- yippee! I am surprised at how receptive they are - does my heart good:)

Heather - I would not even want to leave here, even without the threat of cement shoes, lol!  This is deifinitely home!

Zilla - I know you guys won't ignore me. It's the "adults with special needs" forum I asked Med Help to start. I was worried no one would post after I asked for it. I work with people with mental retardation, down syndrome, autism....  I see so many families with no support, so I asked for a forum for them. I hope to be able to offer some advice occasionally there  - been in the field since college.

Don't forget where you true "home" is....you know what Quix will do to people that try to leave the MS Forum.  Very funny looking body stockings and I am the one that makes the concrete shoes.  There's no escape I tell you....NONE!

P.S. So glad to hear that the other forum for "Adults" with special needs, is up and running.  Will check it out myself....

I'm so excited! There's already a member and a posting!!! I see some forums that just seem to sit there with postings only a couple times a week and those go unanswered, so I'm very happy! I've aways said that I would gladly do my work for free if I could afford to pay my bills - now I CAN do a little bit of it for free over there!!!

This is one reason I believe that the MedHelp site is on the greatest on the Internet.  They really DO listen to people's suggestions and are really out here to HELP others in need of help, by offering us these forums, to be able to communicate with each other.

Yep, MedHelp is truly a great place to have there for everyone....
