Tues...
have MRI scheduled. Not sure what kind of MRI it is. Probably my knees as I got the notice in the mail the same day as my Neuro said he was going to schedule brain and spine MRI's. But even if it is of my knees I still am not sure why. I had talked to my PCP about my knee problems and then about 1 week later I was seen by another doctor concerning getting disability for my knees. So this could be for either of them. But hopefully it will mean that something is in the works for getting my knees fixed.
Xmas...
I am suppose to go over to my friend's house for dinner. Still don't know what time though... I still need to get my Black Forest Cheesecake made... Maybe on Wed. I'll have the energy to do that.

Monday -
I actually had an appt today with a voice specialist who did a video scope peak into my throat and the first five rings of my esophagus (I think I got that right). All is well, the mystery lump, knot bubble continues to be blamed on acid reflux. Go figure. I see the ENT in a followup on Jan 5. The advice today was to continue the reflux diet - yeah, right. Like that's going to happen with all those good foods to eat. For the rest of the week,
Tuesday - bake cookies
Wednesday - eat cookies
Thursday - eat other people's cookies
Friday - sleep in due to sugar overdose from cookies.
Happy holidays one and all,
Lulu
This year its going to be simple and thankful with my family. Even my kids are just glad I'm not in the hospital. Watch Christmas shows and wait for Santa---
I pray all of us have a much healthier New Year--May God Bless you all-this is a wonderful forum and thankful for you all.
Happy Holidays to All
Suzie
The family and I are going to visit my Uncle's and then on Sunday mum and I are headed to Vanderbilt in TN to see a doc on Monday. (all hugs, prayers and wishes welcome!!)

I was going to see my PCP this morning, but my appt. was cancelled due to weather. I may reschedule if possible. I want to get my bloodwork done; anti SS-A and SS-B and other stuff that my neuro-ophtha suggested, plus rechecking my vitamin D levels.
I'm not getting my haircut until Saturday, but I'm thinking I won't make it to any Christmas gatherings because of the weather, anyway.
I've spent the day wrapping gifts for my best friend's grandsons, whose parents are driving them up from the Bay Area. I don't think I'll get a chance to see them, but at least I can get some gifts to them, and I saw them for Thanksgiving at Disneyland.
I think I'll spend some time walking through the snow, listening to holiday music, watching some movies, and drinking tea.
Hanukkah, Christmas, and New Year Hugs!
Kathy
Gosh, is it still Monday? I'm SO busy!
Tomorrow the furball and I will go over the river and through the woods (actually nearly all Interstate driving), to my sister's house in NY State, which I usually refer to as the Tundra. At least a foot of snow there, none here.
It will be 260 miles of traffic, so I just have to get used to it. Nothing else to be done, so don't sweat it, right??? Precipitation is in the forecast for Weds., thus the entire world will travel Tuesday.
Will be there thru Sunday, and it will be nice indeed. My cookie baking didn't turn out all that well this year, but they'll all get eaten regardless. I think we'll go see 'Marley and Me.'
Now I have to get back to frantically wrapping the stuff I've bought. After all, Santa's coming.
I'm sure I'll find my way here between now and Christmas, but still I'll take this opportunity to wish all my friends here the merriest of Christmases, and a health-FULL New Year.
Christmas hugs,
ess
