Thanks so much for answering, it as more to do with the fact that it also suddenly just disappeared.
Yes, I can see gow it might be to do with getting up and moving around but quite the opposite. I tried moving, stretching, gentle exercise and rest, all to no avail this morning, but why it disappeared is just a mystery to me.
It is nice to know I'm not alone though and I know in comparison to others I'm lucky, but we all deserve a whine every now and then eh?
Thanks and I hope you all feel better soon too.

Pat,
I can definitely sympathize with you! I, too, have the same problem. Just yesterday, I cooked chili for our church. We have a meal every Wednesday evening before our services. Just stirring the meat to get it evenly cooked, chopping onions and serving has left me a painful wreck today. Even while I was cooking, my back and shoulders hurt so badly.
I don't know what is causing the pain in my right buttock, I'm assuming it's the piriformis muscle or something with my hip but it feels as if it is shrinking and it is killing me. I get so tired of complaining of all my aches and pains but I'm trying to realize that with MS, there is no controlling it. Hope we all get some relief sometime soon!
Well you did ask "does anyone else experience this problem with muscles and joints at all"
Bet you wish you hadn't sorry for my whinge!
HI there, I am so sorry that you are not feeling so well. I can relate. My daughter just moved out and it has left me rather exhausted. I have a very sore hip and thigh, it always feels really stiff, so much so that I almost cry when I go to lift up my leg to hop into our 4WD, this car is higher than normal cars.
I can no longer hop on my horse without a box but I can't put any weight on that leg without my hip being so painful, so I scramble on with assistance, not so elegantly, lucky I have a good horse. I went to the Dr about my hip and he said that I have no arthritis etc. So why to fruit is it so sore? So I am assuming it is tied in with my neuro problems, as my left leg is the one that is weaker.
So my theory is that I either create this problem because of the way I walk, or it is some sort of tightness due to spacticity??? I have no idea but I seem to have so many aches and pains, I am thinking about going to have physio on it to see if it helps because at the moment I am beginning to feel a bit depressed as my burning in my privates is ridiculous and my hip and then other things are starting to get to me. I have decided I can no longer ride my horse at least for the moment, and i think that has got to me as well, but I know that I am lucky compared to many on this forum, but I admit I am sick of being in pain!
Udkas.
I can identify with this scenario. My physical therapist told me it's due to weak muscles and the improper use of them due to the weakness. My hips hurt due to weak hip flexors and then I change my gait to accommodate the weakness leading to new muscular pain. Therapist's suggestion was to make sure I stretch all the muscles to avoid/help with the muscle issues. Perhaps, you felt better because you got up and moving and strectched.
I"m sorry you slepet so poorly last night. Hope tonight is better!
My two cents,
Ren
