My new term for new symptoms

LOL I tried of trying to put into words and finding what it going on with me so from here on out I'm just calling them UMA (unidentified medical abnormalities)

Ok, heres another one!  MBS.  It goes with UMA.  MSB (Mooshy Brain Syndrome). Heres dictation on it.

S: Patient complains of  Cognitive impairment, gait distrubance, inability to swallow, spasticity in lower extremeties, visual disturbances, temp sensititivity x 3 yrs.
O: Patiens vitals are normal, appears irritated, figity and visibly upset.  Neuro exam abnormal, MRI reveals lesions. EVP abnormal, LP abnormal, Every indication of MS is apparent.
A: UMA, MBS (Cuz I dont have any balls to call it as I see it!)
P: recheck in 6 months if no improvement.

that is going on the top of my list for the new doctor, at least we will see if they read our lists now and ask what the heck is this!!!

ya, call the Dr's office and tell the receptionist to schedule you regarding U.M.A. When she asks what it is tell her "A medical term the Dr should know and it's not UMA Therman." then when Dr comes in with his puzzeled look you can inform him!  Watch him use the acronym on your chart too under Assessment!  Pt has UMA. Recheck in 6 mo if no improvement.  LOL  Thats the greatest term!  I love it!

May be I should use that term when I go back to the doctor. I would love to see how he reacts when terms are thrown at him that he just doesn't know.
