Hi. I agree with Ren that this is a very annoying paresthesia. Hope it's better today.

Hi Ren, I am not exactly sure what this is, but maybe it is just my paresthesias in right leg being more aggravated today. It is just buzzing away constantly. I do though feel like my entire leg thigh down is "cold" ice-like sensation.
It just must be one of those days today.
Thanks so much for your info.

The buzzing is a paresthesia. Some paraesthesias feel like vibrating cell phones or hot or cold liquids, etc.
Lhermitte's sign is defined as a buzzing or electrical sensation that occurs when the cervical spine is flexed such as bending your head down. The buzzing goes down your neck and back and then into your leg.
Does your foot only buzz when you bend your neck? Then it could be Lhermmite's sign. Do remember to tell your neurologist your symptoms. As a friendly reminder, don't tell him yo think it's Lhermitte's or anything else. Just describe the sensation and location and let him decide to label it. Most of not all, neuros get perturbed if the patient has been gathering information on the internet or on a forum. They feel there is too much false information and do not like patients "diagnosing themselves".
My neuro told me the "only" true information about MS on the internet is what can be found on the National MS Society's website. He told me to ignore forums and other websites. Of course, I agreed with a smile on my face and as you can see, I'm still here :-))))
Good Luck,
Ren
