Is this a spasm?

Hi all. So this moring I have gotten this weird thigh pull/cramp. It is in my left thigh and just a part of it. It feels like muscle fibers are being pulled but only lasts for a second and goes away. I have gotten about 4 of these this am.

Is this considered a spasm?

Yes, I think that is it. It feels like it contracts for  second and it hurts.

I dont get it. If I have MS how could all the main symptoms I have just all come on in three days? I just woke up one day in June to pains jumping all over my body from a finger for a minute to a toe, to my back--hitting 10 different areas in my body for minutes then jumping to the next.

I get these type of pains in my thighs but I don't know the answe to it?  Sorry, can't help with this.. but the MS specialist I see said she tells her patients to drink 1/2 glass of Tonic Water a day to help with leg pains?

Not sure what type of leg pains she means... I told her I get cramps in my legs...but I also get pulling type pains that come and go in my thighs?...

take care

Is it like a portion of the muscle is contracting for a second and then releasing?
