New week - what's up?

Here we go again - another new week starting and it's time to check in with what's happening.

I am eating well this week, thanks to the pharma talks happening.  There is a luncheon from Copaxone on Monday. Gilenya on Tuesday.  And then a dinner about Aubagio on Wednesday.  I think I might also have a Wednesday luncheon, but am waiting to confirm that.  The drug companies are tripping over each other right now trying to get out attention and Rx business.

Other than this - I have no appts this week.
How about you?  What do you have on the calendar?
be well, Laura

Happy Anniversary Alex!!!

Dennis, I hope your PTSD meeting is helpful.

Maureen, congrats on all the happy family related things!  I hope the Copaxone works well for you.

Everyone else, have a great week!  I wish I could join those of you who have gardens...  I'm so very tired of condo living!

I don't have anything going on, except watching ebay auctions to sell things I don't need anymore.

Here's hopging Laura that your neuro appt. goes well.  How is the Tysabri going?   I'm still thinking about it, but, don't you have to have tried 2 DMD's before they will accept you ?    I am trying to get through the things booked right now, then I will look really hard in to that other stuff.    Hoping you are doing well  ((HUGS)) Candy

The tomatos are out of the  garage and getting fresh air in the yard.  Now for some time to dig the holes.  I called about setting up my regular neuro six month visit due to being on Tysabri and they have nothing until NOVEMBER unless I want to see him tomorro, taking a cancellation spot.  So guess who is making the road trip tomorrow?  Yep - here we go.

Still here, still waiting.

My next appt isn't until June 10.

It's funny, when we're suffering in limbo we agonize over the lack of face time with a doctor. But I balk at what so many of you have to endure in terms of number of doctors' visits.

While I still long for some diagnosis...it's sure bittersweet to think about. But then, it sure would be nice to be proactive about what's going on with my body.

Speaking of which, most of my sx seem to have leveled off for a weeks now, so that's good. I'm making the most of it by getting out a lot and enjoying the sunshine we've been blessed with lately!

JB, so glad to hear about your shoulder! Your comment cracked me up!

Dennis, good golly, I hope for a successful week with the VA this round. It seems like you never really know what you're going to get!

Congratulations to you, Alex! Youve been through so much -- hope you have a wonderful time!

And Kelly, I hope your celebration is a good time for all as well!

Candy, I don't really know you much yet, but you've got quite the bucketload right now! Prayers that all goes smoothly for you this week!

My week starts off with setting up my first medical treatments with copaxone (or anything at all before this).
Busy at work as always -
My grand niece was born early this morning.
My week ends with my daughter graduating summa *** laude.  It will be amazing.  I'm so proud of her.
No medical visits this week
But my neuro is in touch and I feel he cares
Congrats Alex - enjoy your anniversary
Hope all doctor appointments, go well for all

gardening season hasn't quite arrived here, yet.  My tomato plants are hunkered down in the garage, hiding from the forecasted frost.  Come on spring - I need some warm air to go with the blue skies we have had.

Happy Anniversary, Alex.  Enjoy the time together.  How's the painting going ?  I hope you have time in the studio to do things you enjoy.

Candy, that's a bunch of tests to be staring at - I hope it goes well.  Dennis, that's a bunch of appointments on your calendar.

JB - hope the doctor gives you the ok to start pitching soon.

best, Laura

Happy Anniversary Alex !!!  (((HUGS)))

Well, this is the beginning of a new bunch of tests for me.  Another bladder test tomorrow, at the hospital ... then a few days off, then next week we get the growth removed on my back, then an Ultrasound on the lumps on my left leg behind my knee and up my thigh,...... then we see my gyno for a bladder/ vaginal wall prolapse, and will find out when surgery will be, then a little breather,.... and my throat Dr. for my hoarse voice...... whew***  I'm tired already...!!!

Hope to enjoy some benefits of my gardening this weekend......

((HUGS)) to all,
might not be on to much,

Hope you are all doing well,,,,,,,,

A very busy week for me that actually started on Saturday.

Saturday was an appointment with my NEW cardiologist at the VA. Found out the 2 of the grafts from my 3x bypass surgery have failed. This was found out back in 2009 but no one at the VA ever told me about that until now. But somehow my heart is doing OK despite this.

Monday               I have an appointment with my MS Neuro.

Tuesday              I have the roof of my car port being replaced.

Wednesday         I have to take my truck in for it's 10K checkup.

Thursday             PTSD 101 Clinic at the VA.

A med/doc free week for me. In fact, a pretty boring week over all :-)

I got my vegetable garden planted this week end. I also went to a Durham Bulls Baseball Game.

I see the heart specialist Weds. to see if the chemo damaged my heart.

Saturday I have a c-spine and thoracic MRI for MS. My brain MRI was good only one more lesion.

Saturday my husband and I are going out to celebrate our anniversary.
