I can empathize with you I just got over my first bought of vertigo today.  It started Monday 9/10 while I was at work. I ended up on the floor. I work in a hospital so I got a quick trip to the er with no answers. Just to clarify, I do nto a Ms dd but it has not been completely ruled out either. I hope you fer to feeling better.  I think sleep helped me.  I took a three hour nap yesterday and slept all night.

Im so sorry to hear that Meg!  I've had a bout of vertigo a time or two and thankfully it didnt last long (heard other people have had it for days, weeks, months! Yikes!)

And at the "I am always feeling bad...its like one thing gets better and then something else pops up"  I'd like to add "and something new".  I think that is the story of people's lives around here.

I have nothing to add to aid in your situation, but I can say to you, I hope this passes and the aftermath of symptoms (feeling sick) dissipates quickly!  ((HUGS))

(((hugs))) are always good, thanks sweetie !

@wobbly..that would be difficult to have vertigo that much..wow!  I am always dizzy, my first episode of vertigo got better but left me always dizzy to varying degrees.  You know, I am always feeling bad...its like one thing gets better and then something else pops up.

Am I the only one around here that never feels good ?

Hi there, I get Vertigo and when the dizziness finally ends I too feel ill and tired for a few days, the vertigo I get will come back a few time during the days

I get them in clusters and they will last on and off for a few weeks.  Then the might stop for a few weeks, then I forget about them and they return, it's been like this for years now.  I mean years...like 20 years.

the drs can't find anything to help with them I had to learn to live and adjust my life around them.  They can come on at any time, if I get upset or stressed it could cause it to start up, but not all the time.

take care of yourself

Thanks Tom !  It certainly is not much fun and I did not call my Dr.  It was gone within an hour, at least the bad part was.  And I did not call my Dr., my MS specialist is almost impossible to reach, I really deal with her nurse practitioner.  The Dr.'s at UCSF are not easy to talk with, much too busy.

I also did not call primary Dr. either....I think I have just got so tired of Dr's that it is difficult to make myself call them.  I didn't feel it was all that serious, like I said it is just a simple question and might make for a good conversation piece.

hugs, meg

Hi Meg,

I am sorry to hear that you are having vertigo. It is hands down one of the worst experiences I have ever had in my life! I wouldn't even wish it on my worst enemy.

It could possibly be a flare-up...... Have you called your doctor about it? I really hope for your sake that it goes away.

Best,

Tom
