OK somebody turn down the heat!

If these last two days are any indication of what summer will be like I've got to get to cooler weather. It was almost 90 yesterday even though it was very cloudy and it has hot 90 already today. Since my home is an older one and central air doesn't really cool the place down when it gets hot outside. I think they only put in R-1 insulation when they built it. :) Well at least I have a window A/C for my bedroom which keeps it around 70 even with the heat. But the rest of my home was at 79 at 11PM last night.

I did notice yesterday & today intention tremors in my left hand. I had been thinking it was the Lyrica but I have not taken it in a few days so maybe it is just a new symptom and the heat is bringing it out.

don't like hearing that as i can realate to your situation. its already past 100 here in the desert and its only May.

some folks brought up "swamp coolers" that a few had put in their house recently to help with cooling. none of us can afford to keep the A/C on like below 79-80 as the costs skyrocket here as in most cities.

next ms support group in june their bringing in their elec bills for comparisons. so far they say their house is really cool and not desert dry. we'll see.

It's going to be 90 here tomorrow as well. I'm not handling this heat so well. It's making me more tired.

How about it! We're hitting almost 90 tomorrow. It's so nice to have the windows open. It might be a good day to sit outside under the sprinkler. I think we're in for a hot dry one this year.

I live in the uk and it is freezing. not at all like May should be. It feels like winter at the moment. If you want to cool down come on over. Although they are saying it should be improving next week. Good luck in finding ways to cool down.
