OT - Merry Christmas

To all my wonderufl friends who have helped me this year

I have not been around so much for the last few weeks as I have finally got all my family back together which is amazing as my hubbie has been absent for most of the year, away in Afghanistan for 5 months and then on active service in other places but he is now home. Yahooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! 3 teenage children constantly empty the fridge but it is great to have them all home and together.

This year has been a bit of a rollercoaster for me and I know that my life will never be the same as being diagnosed with MS is something that will be with me forever. However I am blessed with a wonderful family, many friends and my life is still very meaningful and happy and I intend to hold onto this and make the most of every day.

I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and whatever your circumstances, however you are feeling, I hope that each and every one of you finds something to smile about and make you happy. For me this year the best news I have heard is that an old friend and his wife have been blessed with a much longed for baby. They went through 3 unsuccessful rounds of IVF and then decided to go for a surrogate birth and a wonderful Mum in USA has given them the gift of a child... a little boy. This news filled me with joy and I just felt what a wonderful gift life is.....and what an amazing thing to do.... to help a couple realise their dream to be parents. For those of you who don't know me..I live in England and so do my friends so they had to go to America to collect their baby boy.

Sarah xxxx

PS It is very very very cold here in England and we have a white Christmas and very icy roads.

Wishing you the happiest holidays as well.  You have a wonderful spirit, and it is so great that you have so many wonderful things to celebrate in your life.

So glad your husband is back safely and I hope he can be home for a while.

My husband and i have an empty nest, but my 2 daughters, son in law, daughter's fiancee, and son will all be home tonight.  My daughter who lives across the country ( I am in US) has a 4 year old foster child who will be joining us this year.  So I have much to be thankful for.

We also have snow - a LOT.  We have broken some snowfall records where  l Live and as I look out my window, guess what - ITs snowing.  But our foster granddaughter has never seen snow. I have a pair of snowpants, boots, hats, gloves etc all waiting for her....and of course a sled.

Happy holidays to all and I wish you peace.
